2009 Pacific Northwest Region Conference
The 2009 annual Pacific Northwest Region conference will be held in Vancouver, BC, Canada, April 29 – May 2, 2009. The theme for this year's conference is "Reaching for Gold" in recognition of facilities planners’ constant striving for perfection in school planning and design, with a nod to Vancouver’s hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics where top performance is rewarded with a gold medal.

The Pacific Northwest Region is pleased to announce this Call for Speakers for its 2009 Regional Conference in Vancouver, BC Canada, April 29 – May 2, 2009. The theme for this year's conference is "Reaching for Gold" in recognition of facilities planners’ constant striving for perfection in school planning and design, with a nod to Vancouver’s hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics where top performance is rewarded with a gold medal. Presentation topics related to this theme may include (but are not limited to):
- Planning and Design Strategies that Support Gold LEED Achievement
- Designing for High Achievement Learning Environments
- Sustainable Design
- Strategic Planning
Submission Guidelines:
CEFPI members are encouraged to apply by posting their presentation information to the CEFPI speaker database, http://speakers.cefpi.org. Please include the following information:
- Title of Presentation
- Abstract (Approximately 400 words)
- Name of Presenter(s)
- Bio for each presenter
- Session Objectives
- AV Requirements
*** Please note that all sessions are to be educational in nature and should not be sales, product or marketing oriented. All speakers are required to register for the conference and pay the regular conference fee.
Submission Deadline:
The deadline for abstracts is October 31, 2008. Notification of selection will occur in mid-November.
